- ½ cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 scoop collagen powder
- ½ banana (sliced)
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- Almond milk is the liquid base for this smoothie but you can use any milk you prefer, including dairy and plant-based options. Examples include oat milk, hemp milk, and coconut milk.
- If freezing your own strawberries, half or quarter them before putting them in the freezer. This will make it easier for your blender to chop them up.
- Only use ripe bananas, which have a yellow peel and some dark brown spots. Avoid unripe bananas because they're bitter and don't taste good in smoothies. Unripe bananas have a green peel.
- Add a bit of milk and blend for 10 seconds if the smoothie is too thick.
- To store extra smoothie, pour it in an airtight glass jar and keep it in the refrigerator. Be sure to drink it within 1-2 days.
