Equipment

Ingredients

  • ½ cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 packet acai puree (thawed)
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1 ½ cups frozen dragon fruit

Instructions

  • Put unsweetened almond milk, acai puree, frozen strawberries, and frozen dragon fruit into a blender. Secure lid.
Place ingredients into the blender in the order listed.
  • Blend until smooth.
Start the blender on LOW speed for 30 seconds. Increase speed to HIGH for a full minute. Use the tamper tool to help move the ingredients in the blender.
  • Spoon into a bowl. Serve immediately.
Add optional toppings like sliced fresh strawberries and frozen dragon fruit.

Notes

  • Instead of unsweetened almond milk, dairy milk and other non-dairy milks, like hemp milk or soy milk, can also be used.
  • You can use frozen mixed berries instead of strawberries. If freezing your own strawberries, cut them into slices or quarters first. This will make it easier for your blender to break down.
  • To thin your smoothie bowl, add a splash of almond milk and blend for 10 seconds.
  • For a sweeter recipe, add 1 tablespoon date syrup after the almond milk.
  • Eat smoothie bowls as soon as make them. This will guarantee the best flavor and quality. If you need to save leftovers, keep it in an airtight jar in the refrigerator for no more than 2 days.
