Equipment

Ingredients

  • ½ milk (any kind)
  • ¼ plain nonfat Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup banana (sliced)
  • ½ cup frozen blueberries
  • ½ cup frozen strawberries

Instructions

  • Put milk, Greek yogurt, sliced banana, frozen blueberries, and frozen strawberries into a blender. Secure lid.
Place ingredients into the blender in the order listed.
  • Blend until smooth.
Start the blender on LOW speed for 10 seconds. Increase speed to HIGH for a full minute.
  • Pour smoothie into a cup. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • To make the smoothie less thick, use fresh strawberries or blueberries. The other berry should be frozen to properly chill the smoothie.
  • When using fresh strawberries, always remove the green tops before putting them in the blender.
  • Add a small amount of milk if the smoothie is too thick, then blend for 10 seconds.
  • Store leftover smoothie in the refrigerator for 1-2 days in an airtight glass container. For the best flavor and quality, it's best to drink the smoothie within 24 hours of blending.
